CARIBBEAN SAILING VACATIONS . . . With Cap'n Tom Kruse |

Check out the sample itinerary page for a typical 7-day cruise in the BVI's. Each day, we would sail to a new anchorage on a different island, each having its own attractions and character. If you enjoy exploring, take the dinghy (with an outboard motor) to get you ashore for a walk along the beach. In the more popular anchorages, restaurants, bars and boutiques populate the shoreline. If you prefer swimming or snorkeling, the stern has a swim deck with a fresh-water shower for rinsing off or a refreshing shampoo. I strive to create a laid-back casual atmosphere on board. Shorts or bathing suits are the clothing de rigueur every day. A light cotton shirt is best for keeping the sun off during the day, and usually is enough to stay comfortable in the evenings. Your favorite CD’s can be played on the stereo, or simply sit back and listen to the sounds of nature. Nighttime on deck can be spectacular under a full moon and a sky full of stars. If you’re planning to go ashore, casual wear is generally accepted at most shoreline bars and restaurants (except for the most exclusive resorts). Most guests prefer to dine alfresco on the cockpit table. Dishes, drink glasses, silverware and pots & pans are all provided with the charter. All you need to bring are a few clothes, a bathing suit, and a commitment to enjoy yourself. Let's get started now. Email or call me today!
